Fannie Korol, age 88, of Bridgeport, peacefully entered into rest in her home on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Devoted daughter to the late Alexander and Antoinette Luongo, she was predeceased by her husband Viktor Korol. Born in Scranton, PA she was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport.
She worked as an assembler for General Electric before her retirement. Fannie enjoyed going to the diner for breakfast, crocheting, spending time at the Baldwin Center and sitting by the sound listening to the waves.
Survived by: Michael Korol, Karin Hudak and her husband Robert, Peter Korol and his wife Judy, and Kathleen Greco and her husband Michael. She also leaves six grandchildren: Erik Hudak, Adam Hudak, Michael Greco, Jr., Dawn Chamberlain, Robyn Knight and Nicholas Greco along with nine great-grandchildren.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Friends are invited to join the family at a Graveside Service on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:30 AM St. Michael’s Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford.
