Obituary: Gary P. McGee, 60; Formerly Of Shelton

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From Keenan Funeral Home): Gary McGee, 60, passed away September 2, 2023. He was known as a big-hearted, and generous man to all who knew and loved him.

Raised in Shelton, CT, the middle child of a family of five, Gary graduated from Shelton High School, and was working for Pratt & Whitney as an airframe and power plant mechanic for five years before his passing. He shared his passion for motorcycles with the love of his life, Rhonda, having just returned from the trip of a lifetime to Sturgis Bike Week.

Gary was a loyal and compassionate man who cared deeply for his family and friends and protected them fiercely. His presence will be eternally missed.

Gary is predeceased by his best friend and brother, Sean McGee, his parents, Jack and Jeanette Bialko McGee, and his nephew, Steven Grubisa. He leaves behind his wife, Rhonda Griffith, his step-children Ashley and Michael Foreman and Ben and Carol Sanders, and the light of his heart, his grandchildren, Jaydie and Emmitt Foreman. He is also survived by his brother Dan McGee and sister-in-law, Kim McGee, his sister Cathy Grubisa and brother-in-law, Gary Grubisa, his sister Patty Evans and brother-in-law David Evans, as well as his niece and four nephews.

Friends and family may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St., West Haven, on Wednesday, September 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m.
