Helen R Baptist Lull, 87, of Shelton passed away on December 9th surrounded by her family.
Helen was born to Charles & Helen Rogers on September 17, 1935 in Hempstead, Long Island.
She was a graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport and after resuming her education as an adult, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Fairfield University in 1985.
Helen retired from The United Illuminating Company in 1993 after over 30 years of loyal service. She was a devout Catholic and volunteered her time freely working with multiple organizations.
Helen is survived by her husband of 40 years, John Lull of Shelton and daughters Susan Baptist (Gary Bratchell) of Savannah, GA, Anne Baptist Kondratowicz (Kevin) of Stafford Springs, CT, Patricia Baptist of Naugatuck, CT, Mary Baptist Mills and granddaughter Rebecca Mills both of Savannah, GA.
Survivors also include her siblings Mary Morrisroe of Ridgefield, CT & Charles Rogers (Elaine) of Milford, CT as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her first husband, William R Baptist, siblings Susan Rogers Fitch & Stephen Rogers and her son-in-law, Ted J Recupido.
Visitation will be held at Riverview Funeral Home at 390 River Rd in Shelton, CT on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church located at 50 Fairmont Place in Shelton, CT.
Burial will follow at Mount St. Peter’s Cemetery, Derby, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Helen Baptist Lull to The Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut.
