Jerald Evan Bevis, age 68, of Seymour entered into rest on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Griffin Hospital.
He was born in Bridgeport on January 27, 1954 son of Ruth (Beno) Federko and the late John Bevis. Jerald was a valley resident for most of his life. He enjoyed motorcycles, especially taking his Harley out for long rides. Jerald also was an avid fisherman and was known for his storytelling. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.
He was the beloved father of Jerald Bevis, Jr., Leslie Bevis, Carson Bevis, Christie Bevis and Kari Bevis and brother of John Bevis, Raymond Bevis and Timothy Bevis. Jerald was the loving grandfather of Jasmin, Samantha, Michael, Leighann and Jerry, Jr. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 6 PM. His funeral service will follow at 6 PM at the parlor.
