John Dean Piagneri, age 60, of Ansonia entered into rest on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of 30 years to Marsha Lynn (Stokes) Piagneri. John was born in Bronx, New York on August 16, 1961, son of the late Dino and Hilde (Gunther) Piagneri and was an Ansonia resident for most of his life.
He worked in logistics for most of his career. John enjoyed gardening and collecting coins and stamps. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and his pets.

He was the brother of Linda White, uncle of Steven (Katie) White and Michael White and was also survived by several nieces and nephews and three great nieces.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 4th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the parlor.
