Joseph A. Dos Santos, age 63, of Shelton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Born on February 24, 1960 in Vilar, Boticas, Portugal, he was a son of the late Amadeu Dos Santos and Celeste Afonso.
A graduate of Norwalk Technical College, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Joe was formerly employed by Perkin Elmer and retired as an Electrical Technician at Hologic, Inc.

He had a passion for computers and electrical engineering. A kid at heart, he enjoyed flying drones, playing games on his computer, and working on cars.
Joe was the life of every party, telling his bad jokes, singing, and dancing carefree, always making everyone laugh. He could always light up the room with his personality and smile.

But above all he was a kind and loving father, grandfather, brother, and everyone's favorite uncle. The unconditional love he gave, and the memories created will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Jessica Fereira Dos Santos (Gregory Voytek) and his cherished grandson, Logan Victoria Fereira, his devoted siblings, Jeremias Dos Santos (Laura), Elisa Medeiros and Maria Piedade Tiago (David), as well as several adored nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
