Obituary: Justin Michael Geffert

Justin Michael Geffert, age 31, of Shelton entered into rest on December 25, 2021.

He was born in Bridgeport on July 22, 1990, son of Robert R. Geffert, Jr. and Elisa A. (Santini) Geffert and was a lifelong Shelton resident. After his personal experiences with substance abuse, Justin devoted his life to assisting others improve their quality of life and became a Recovery Specialist at Help, Inc. Justin loved helping people and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his loving parents, he was survived by his paternal grandfather Robert R. Geffert, Sr., his Toy Poodle Chloe and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Justin was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Nettie Geffert and his maternal grandparents Charles and Rita Santini.

Friends may call on Friday, January 7th, from 4 to 7 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. On Saturday, January 8th his funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 AM. Family and friends are required to wear masks. His burial will follow at Lawn Cemetery, East.
