Obituary: Karen D. Bromley, 67, Of Shelton
She was a gardener, a cook, a lifelong resident of Shelton and a grandmother who cherished special moments spent with her grandchildren.

Karen Dirsa Bromley passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024 at Danbury Hospital. A lifelong resident of Shelton, Connecticut, Karen was born on January 13, 1957, to the late Eleanor Casper Dirsa and George Walter Dirsa.
Karen leaves behind three children and their families. She is survived by: Retired Sergeant First Class Ian Walter Bromley and his wife Christina, Megan Bromley Manion and her husband William, and Sarah Amanda McDevitt and her husband Michael. Karen was a loved grandmother to Ingrid, George, Samantha, Keira, Audrey, Madeline, Nora, and Ryder. Each of them brought joy and light into her life.

In her healthier days, she was an enthusiastic Jets fan, a gardener, a cook, and a grandmother who cherished special moments spent with her grandchildren.
In remembrance of Karen, her family kindly requests that donations be made to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission (https://bridgeportrescuemission.org/) in lieu of flowers.

A private burial will take place at Saint Johns Cemetery to honor Karen's life.
