Obituary: Keith F. Basta Jr., 38, Of Shelton

SHELTON, CT — (From Pistey Funeral Home): Keith Francis Basta Jr., 38, of Shelton, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2021.

Keith is survived by his parents, Ellen Lalley, Keith Basta Sr., stepmother Leigh Basta; brother Craig Basta (Siobhan); son Christian Basta; nieces, Hazel and Saoirse Basta; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Leonard and Elizabeth Tufano; paternal grandparents, William Basta and Rita Basta.

Keith was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giants fan. Anyone who knew Keith knew what an amazing man he was. He was creative, easy going, and funny. He was devoted to his family and friends. We cherish Keith’s memory and will always love him.

A private viewing and burial was held for immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been created for Keith’s son, Christian.
