Obituary: Martin Zuzick, 88, Of Shelton

Martin Zuzick, age 88, of Shelton, beloved husband of Mary Jane Wilson Zuzick, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Born on May 30, 1935 in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Martin D. and Helen A. Zitnay Zuzick.
Martin was employed as a salesman at Curtiss Ryan Honda for over 25 years. He truly enjoyed going to work and helping people find the car of their dreams. He forged many lifelong friendships with not only his coworkers but with his customers. An avid golfer, he was a member at the Whitney Farms Golf Course. Martin also enjoyed watching the UCONN Men's and Women's basketball games.

But above all, his most cherished role was that of husband, father and grandfather. The unconditional love he gave and the values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his beloved wife of 66 years, Mary Jane, survivors include, his two loving children, a daughter, Shauna Lynn Garasimowicz and a son, Mark Zuzick and his wife Robyn, four cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Mikhail, Andrew, and Christopher, an adored great granddaughter, Aubree, a sister, Alice Mahan, two brothers, Robert Zuzick, and David Zuzick and his wife Katherine, his sister-in-law, Judith Zuzick, as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Conklin and Arlene Zuzick and a brother, Theodore Zuzick.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 12 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
