Obituary: Michael J. Ciscero

Michael J. Ciscero, age 64, of Seymour entered into rest on Friday, September 24, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.

He was born in Bridgeport on May 11, 1957, son of the late Carmen and Angelina (Trotto) Ciscero.

Michael participated at St. Vincent’s Changing Images program. He loved baseball, his favorite team was RED Sox. He also enjoyed football but his favorite team was whoever was winning. When Michael lived at home, he loved to ride his bike around Bridgeport. He loved listening to music, singing (best singer ever according to Michael), and dancing. Michael also enjoyed talking to his aunt daily.

Michael was survived by his loving aunt Rose Traggianese, uncle Andrew (Nancy) Trotto, several cousins, nieces, and nephews, and close friend Chris Martin as well as the many staff that supported him at RMS and St. Vincent’s. Michael was predeceased by his brother Carmen Ciscero, Jr. and sister Laura Lee Petroccia.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 1 to 3 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Masks are required. On Thursday, friends are invited to go directly to St. Margaret Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. His entombment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
