Obituary: Michael John Putnick

Michael John Putnick, age 70, of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on March 6, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of forty nine years to Cynthia “Cindi” (Risley) Putnick.

He was born on September 17, 1952 in Bridgeport, son of the late Charles and Mary Putnick. Michael spent the first nineteen years of his career at BHC, then went on to become a manager for Cablevision, and he was a service manager at Casey Energy until his retirement. He worked for the Westport Police Department after his retirement.

Michael is also survived by his sons Michael Putnick II and his wife Francine, and Jeffrey Putnick, granddaughter Kara Putnick, brother Joe Putnick, and sisters Susie McKay and Carole Muir. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Michael was predeceased by his brother Charles Putnick Jr., and sister Mary Jensen.

His funeral service will be private.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton.
