Obituary: Michael Therriault

Beloved Husband, son and Brother

(Kreative Line)

Michael Therriault, age 35, of West Haven entered into rest on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Victoria Williams Therriault. They were deeply devoted to each other and the center of each other’s world. Michael was born in Danbury on February 8, 1985, son of David and Trudy (Bartush) Therriault. Michael was the loving brother of Davin Therriault and his wife Alicia, Kiernan Therriault, and Timika Mayfield and her husband Michael; grandson of Ellen Bartush and the late John Bartush; special nephew of Linda Wilson; son-in-law of Ed and Cathy Williams; and brother-in-law of Edward Williams and his wife Erin. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family was the most important thing to Michael. He was a proud uncle, and nothing made him happier than spending time with all his nieces and nephews. He loved playing and cuddling with his fur baby Roxi. He always thought of others first, loved ones or strangers; it didn’t matter, as long as he was helping someone. He loved all things outdoors. Landscaping was his passion, as it was not only his occupation, but a hobby he spent many weekends doing as well. Michael loved a good snow storm and would get just as excited as when he was a child hoping for a day off from school. He loved the water, whether it was enjoying Bashan Lake with his family throughout his entire life, or taking a walk on the beach with his wife on a summer night. He also loved trivia, making up words and nicknames, quoting movies, and telling corny dad jokes. Due to the current pandemic health crisis his memorial service is private. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton is entrusted with his arrangements. Friends may leave condolences at www.riverviewfh.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the American Liver Foundation or to Donate Life Connecticut.
