Mildred “Millie” Mirabile, age 93, of Orange, entered into rest on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Seymour on October 6, 1929; the daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Doherty) Helmrich.
Millie was a lifelong Valley resident and a dedicated member of the Red Hat Society. She worked for Derby Savings Bank for over 30 years, working all the way up from a teller to a Mortgage Officer. Millie is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Mirabile, jr, and by her brother, George Helmrich and her sister, Dorothy Gandle.
Friends may go directly to church on Tuesday, February 28th at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road in Orange for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
