Obituary: Patricia DiMenno

Patricia DiMenno, age 86, of Shelton entered into rest on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Philip DiMenno, Jr.

Patricia was born in Bridgeport on November 5, 1935, daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Bodor) Shannon and was a Shelton resident for over 60 years.

She was a bookkeeper at Bridgeport Engravers Supply Company, Inc. for 32 years until her retirement. While working she was an active member of the Webster Club. Pat and Phil were also active with the Sikorsky Retirees Club. Pat volunteered at St. Vincent’s de Paul for many years. She loved traveling with family and friends and enjoyed skiing, golf, bingo and winning at pinochle.

She is survived by her brother Arthur Shannon and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her twin sister Barbara Kressu.

On Friday, friends may call at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton from 10:00 - 11:15 am. Family and friends are required to wear masks. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 am for her Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon at St. Lawrence Church. Her burial will follow at Lawn Cemetery, South.
