Patricia A. O’Donnell, age 82, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Gardner Heights in Shelton. She was the devoted wife of the late William J. O’Donnell. Patricia was born in Ansonia on March 12, 1938, daughter of the late Goldie Beam Walonis and Charles Walonis, and lived in Shelton for thirty years.
Before retirement, she worked as a Machine Operator for Teladine.
She is the beloved mother of William Michael O’Donnell and Chuck D. O’Donnell and his wife MaryAnn Guzek. She also leaves her sister, Mary “Bunny” Mayhem and her husband Jake,and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Donnie Maloney, and a sister, Betty Palmucci and her late husband Sam.
A walk-through visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 6:00 to 8 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. A graveside service will take place on Friday at 10 AM at Mt. St.Peters Cemetery in Derby.
