Obituary: Peter W. Pearce

Peter W. Pearce, age 90, of Seymour entered into rest on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side.

He was the devoted husband of Pat (O’Rourke) Pearce. Peter was born in Quetta, India on April 5, 1931 son of the late John B. and Ann L. (Beale) Pearce.

While in England, he proudly served as an electrical engineer with the British Army for 26 years. In 1982, his family moved to Shelton where he was employed by Philips Medical in Shelton, and then by St. Raphael Hospital until his retirement, when they moved to Seymour to be closer to his family. Peter was the beloved father of Peter (Sharon) Pearce and Jeffrey (Terry) Pearce, loving grandfather of Joseph (Olivia) Pearce, Thomas (Rebecca) Pearce, Kimberly Pearce, Nash Brancic and James (Andrea) Pearce and great grandfather of Liam and Nora Pearce. He was also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in England.

Friends are invited to his graveside service on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, 117 Mountain Rd., Seymour.
