Obituary: Ruth Wilson Stewart, 102, Of Huntington

Ruth Marie (Wilson) Stewart, age 102 of Huntington, CT, passed away, August 16, 2023. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late James and Jane Wilson.

In her earlier years, Mrs. Stewart worked in the payroll department at Remington Arms and Schick. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed sewing and crossword puzzles and loved Judge Judy. Her family was the most important part of her life. She will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Malcolm Stewart and her sisters Dorothy, Elsie , Rita and two brothers Herb and Bob.

Survivors include her two children devoted Patricia Keegan and her husband Frank and Ronald Stewart who lives in Vermont. Her loving grandchildren are Caitlin Stewart Keegan, Sian Rose Keegan , James Malcolm Keegan and his wife Brooke. Granddaughter Shannon Whitney lives in Vermont with her husband Jason and their children Avery , Mackenzie and Riley. She is also survived by her beloved nieces Barbara and Margaret and nephew Robert and several grand -nieces. Ruth will be remembered fondly by her Stewart family in Vermont.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Interment to follow in Lawn Cemetery, Lane St. Huntington, CT.
