Sergio Amoruso, age 73, of Argentina peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday January 31, 2022 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the beloved husband of the late Graciela (Ochoa) Amoruso. He was born in Italy on May 1, 1947 the son of the late Pascual and Linda Amoruso. Sergio worked as a mechanic for many years before his retirement. He loved to travel and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his son Frederico Amoruso, his daughters Carolina Cabezas (Alan) and Cecilia Amoruso Cequeira (Francisco), his grandchildren Kaylee Cabezas, Zachary Cabezas, Sophia Cerqueira, and Ignacio Cerqueira, and his sisters Susan and Marta Amoruso. Sergio was predeceased by his brother Anthony Amoruso and his sister Yovanna Amoruso.

Friends are invited to greet his family on Saturday February 5 from 2 to 4 pm in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Masks are required inside the building.
