Thomas J. Rivers, Jr., age 65, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was born in Derby on April 3, 1957, son of the late Thomas J. Rivers Sr. and Eleanor (Biasucci) Rivers, and was a lifelong resident of the Valley.
Thomas started in advertising sales with the Evening Sentinel, then the Bridgeport Post, and the NY Daily News. He then worked in sales for small businesses. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed fishing, reading, and photography.
He is survived by his brother, Steven B. Rivers and numerous cousins.
Friends may greet his family at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby on Friday, July 8th from 5 to 7 PM. On Saturday, July 9th his funeral procession will leave the parlor at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church at 11:00 AM.
