Owner Again Plans Apartments For Damaged Shelton Building: Report
The renovated building at 475-479 Howe Ave., which was damaged in a fire, also will hold first-floor businesses.

SHELTON, CT — A fire-damaged building at 475-479 Howe Ave. in Shelton, which held apartments and businesses, is set to be renovated and again will hold apartments and retail space, the New Have Register reported.
The building, which is owned by Ken Schiable, was damaged in a fire in 2020, which displaced families on the second floor and businesses on the first floor.
Schiable proposes to increase the number of apartments to six, which would require shrinking the retail space.
