Panera Bread Reopening Restaurant In Shelton This Spring: Report

SHELTON, CT — Panera Bread will reopen a Shelton restaurant this spring, this time down the block from its previous Bridgeport Avenue location, the Connecticut Post reported.

The popular chain restaurant had been at 850 Bridgeport Ave., but closed late last year.

It will now open at the Fountain Square commercial complex at 801 Bridgeport Ave. in mid-April, according to the project's construction manager, Daniel Witkins, Sr., of DFW Building Co.

Other tenants are planned for the complex, but who they are has not yet been disclosed.
