Shelton Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect

Shelton Police are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that happened Thursday afternoon.

SHELTON, CT – Shelton Police are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that happened Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday just before 1 p.m., a man entered Wells Fargo Bank at 320 Coram Ave and handed a teller a note demanding cash, according to Shelton Police, who posted a release on their Facebook page.

The teller complied and the man then went south on Coram Ave with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Police describe the man as white and thin, approximately 6'2" tall in his late 20s or early 30s. He was wearing a black shirt and hate with blue jeans and black sneakers. He has a tattoo on his inner right forearm that appears to be wording.
