Police Investigating Cause of Shelton Bus Driver’s Drowsiness: Report

SHELTON, CT - A Shelton bus driver was stopped by police and had to be replaced in the middle of his route, CT Post reported.

The bus was stopped last week after several reports came in of the driver having closed his eyes a number of times while driving the full bus, according to CT Post. Police stopped the bus during its route, finding the vehicle and students unharmed.

No arrest was made, but police are still investigating the cause of the driver’s drowsiness, CT Post reported. One school official said the individual is “finished in Shelton.”
