Preservation Of Shelton's Mill Street Remains Important In Shelter Ridge Development Discussion: Report

At least one city official believes it will not be adversely affected.

SHELTON, CT — If the controversial Shelter Ridge development proposal is approved by the Shelton Planning and Zoning Commission next month, the project would likely not adversely affect the scenic nature of Mill Street, according to Board of Aldermen President John Anglace.

In an interview with the Shelton Herald, Anglace says he does not believe that the planned structure would be seen from Mill Street.

The planned development at the 121-acre site has been opposed by some residents. At its March 7 meeting, the P&Z is slated to vote on the proposal.
