Public Hearing on Relocation of Derby Middle School Baseball Field

DERBY, CT — Where to possibly relocate the Derby Middle School baseball field will be the subject of a public hearing tonight, Oct. 25, at the Chatfield Street school at 6:30 p.m.

"The purpose of the forum is to have public discussion about the possible relocation of the baseball field and give all stakeholders the opportunity to speak on any issues they feel are pertinent to the initiative," wrote officials in a statement.

Currently, two locations are being considered for the new field:

• The Buddy Amendola Sports Complex (behind Bradley School)
• Witek Park
