DERBY, CT — A revised ordinance adopted by the Derby Board of Aldermen and Alderwomen prohibits overnight parking at city parks.

According to the city, the following revision of section 133-3 of the revised ordinances was adopted May 9 by the board:

"It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon the driveways or grounds within any city park, or to park or cause to be parked within the parks any motor vehicle or trailer between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m."

The revised ordinance is effective June 16, 2024, according to the city.
