Scaled-Back Condo Development Opposed in Shelton

Residents who live near the proposed project on Long Hill Avenue voiced concerns this week to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

SHELTON, CT - Residents who live near a proposed 14-unit luxury condominium complex on Long Hill Avenue in Shelton are opposed to the development, in part due to increased traffic concerns, they told the Planning and Zoning Commission this week.

The Shelton Herald reports that even though the project has been scaled back from 18 units to 14 (in seven duplexes), residents still believe it could cause traffic problems.

Representatives for the developers told the commission that a traffic impact study showed no significant increase.
