Seymour Resident Wins CT Lottery Prize

SEYMOUR, CT — A Seymour resident is $10,000 richer after recently purchasing a winning scratch-off lottery ticket locally, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
Virginia Schmidt won the prize playing a "20X Cash 6th Edition" game. The winning ticket was purchased at the Stop and Shop on Franklin Street in Seymour.
The $20 scratch off game has 21 grand prizes remaining of $20,000, according to the lottery. More than 2.1 million tickets were printed, and its overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
