Shelton Aldermen OK $400,000 For Police, High School: Report

The money reportedly will be spent on new vehicles, school upgrades and other improvements.

SHELTON, CT — The Shelton Police Department will buy six 2022 Dodge Durangos, as part of a $400,000 allocation the Board of Aldermen approved last week, reported the Connecticut Post.

In addition to the police vehicles, improvements to Shelton High's Finn Stadium also will be paid for out of the $400,000, which includes renovations to the concession stand.

The money also will pay for improvements to a city-owned properties on Grove Street, which include renovations to a home that the city will rent to generate revenue.
