Shelton Aldermen President: Say No To Apartment Proposal

The Shelton Board of Aldermen president is urging the Planning and Zoning Commission to reject a proposal for apartments on Bridgeport Ave.

SHELTON, CT — Board of Alderman President John Anglace Jr. told the Planning and Zoning Commission they should reject plans for 272 apartments at 710 Bridgeport Ave.

Anglace told the commission that it's time to start saying no to certain developments or else the city's growth won't be optimally balanced, according to the Shelton Herald.

The current space has offices, light industry and warehouse approval and developers are seeking a Planned Development District in order to add apartments.
