Shelton Baby Comes Home for First Time in 15 Months

Jaxon Buchholz was born with an OEIS complex that kept him in the hospital for 15 months.

Shelton baby Jaxon Buchholz is coming home for the first time in 15 months just in time for the holidays.

Katie Buchholz gave birth to twins Jaxon and Kevin 15 months ago, but Jaxon was born with OEIS complex, a condition where his organs developed outside of his body, according to WTNH. Both babies were born premature and Kevin went home after 22 days.

The condition is rare and affects between 1 in 250,000 and 1 and 400,000 births, according to Jaxon’s GoFundMe page.
