Shelton Board Of Aldermen To Consider Purchases, Payments During Upcoming Meeting: Agenda

SHELTON, CT — The Shelton Board of Aldermen is scheduled to consider a number of purchases, payments and other items during its regular meeting scheduled for Thursday evening.

According to an agenda available on the city's website, the meeting is scheduled to take place at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Shelton City Hall, located at 54 Hill Street.

Among the items listed on the agenda, the board is scheduled to consider an appropriation for payment toward the purchase of 276 Leavenworth Road.

Aldermen are also scheduled to consider an agreement between the city and The Governor's Prevention Partnership, Inc., according to the agenda.

Other financial items listed on the agenda include September statutory tax refunds, a proposed waiver of bid for the sale of surplus topsoil at Shelton High School and a request for funding for equipment at the Shelton High School football stadium concession stand.

Aldermen are also scheduled to consider a temporary appropriation for the repair of a clock on Huntington Green, according to the agenda.

The board is also scheduled to consider acknowledgement of a partnership between the city and the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club for an upcoming Shelton Day event scheduled for Oct. 4, as well as a relocation of an early voting site for the Nov. 3 election from the Shelton Farmer's Market to the Shelton Community Center, according to the agenda.
