Shelton Commercial Building to be Demolished for New Development: Report
Several small businesses face being displaced as a result.

SHELTON, CT — A commercial building on the corner of Center Street and Coram Avenue in Shelton is slated to be torn down for a new mixed-use development, reports the Connecticut Post.
62 Center LLC recently purchased the property for $410,000. In addition to Jeff’s Appliances, the property also includes a three-family home, Gary’s East Coast Service and Chantal’s Beauty Salon. All face possible displacement.
The new owners are planning to a multilevel building with a restaurant and three-dozen apartments.
