Shelton, Derby, Ansonia To Explore Shared School Resources
The idea is in its infancy and a local government group is looking to secure a study grant.

SHELTON, CT — Shelton, Derby and Ansonia will explore a shared school system in an effort to save expenses.
The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments is looking to secure a $40,000 grant to explore the idea, according to the CT Post.
Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti said he wouldn't advocate to merge the entire school district, but to look to see if Derby High students could attend Shelton High.

Shelton easily has the largest enrollment out of the three districts with more than 4,800 students.
