Shelton, Derby Residents Win Big Lottery Prize
Residents of Derby and Shelton recently purchased winning tickets from local businesses, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
SHELTON-DERBY, CT — Residents of Shelton and Derby are both $50,000 richer after purchasing winning lottery tickets from local businesses this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On Friday, a Shelton resident won $50,000 after purchasing a "Powerball" ticket from Huntington Package Store in Shelton.
That same day, a Derby resident won $50,000 after purchasing a "Money Rush" ticket from United Cigar in Derby.
