Shelton Discussing Noise Ordinance To Address Use Of Lawn Equipment

SHELTON, CT — Town officials said at a recent Planning and Zoning Commission meeting that there has "been a discussion about having a regulation or noise ordinance drafted to curtail the hours of lawn equipment use on the weekends."

According to meeting minutes filed this month, Planning and Zoning Administrator Alexander Rossetti discussed the issue of a possible noise ordinance or regulation.

He said he's received complaints from residents, and they are in the process of documenting the complaints. No official action was taken.
