Shelton To Distribute More Coronavirus Test Kits, Masks Sunday

The city received an additional 2,000 kits from the state this week.

SHELTON, CT — Shelton will distribute an additional 2,000 coronavirus test kits and N95 masks Sunday morning, Jan. 9, at Shelton High School, officials announced Thursday.

The city distributed 2,500 kits this past Sunday, and received a new supply this week.

Only Shelton residents with identification will be eligible to receive a kit or mask.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m.

"Entrance to the high school will only be from North Constitution Boulevard," officials wrote on Facebook (see below). "Access to the line on North Constitution Boulevard is from Shelton Avenue only. The high school Meadow Street entrance will be closed to all vehicular traffic."

Separately, Derby also is distributing kits and masks to its residents on Sunday.
