Shelton Doctor's License Suspended
The doctor's license was suspended for two years and he will be on probation for two years after that.
SHELTON, CT — A Shelton doctor had his licensed suspended by the state Medical Examining Board for two years after he reportedly suffered from paranoid behavior.
Dr. Nami Bayan emailed members of the Department of Public Health and alleged that there was corruption and organized crime in the medical system, law enforcement and DPH, according to the Connecticut Health Investigative Team.
A psychiatrist who examined Bayan testified that he didn't respond to logic and was threatening during an examination, according to a MEB memo. Bayan accused MEB hearing panel members and DPH of treating him unfairly.
