Shelton Dog Grooming Salon to Hold Grand Re-opening

Local officials will be on hand for the celebration. Dogs are welcome, too.

A Shelton business will celebrate its 14th year in business with a grand re-opening.

Doggie Styles Grooming remodeled its salon at 210 Leavenworth Rd. and will open its doors to the public to tour the updated facility at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11.

On hand will be Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti and Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce President Bill Purcell, along with family and staff of the business.

Humans and their four-legged friends are invited to the celebration, officials said.

Doggie Styles Grooming began as a mobile grooming business in 2002 and opened its first salon in 2006.

It relocated to the White Hills Shopping Center at Route 110 in 2009.

The owners of the business said donations to the Shelton Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
