Shelton Firefighters Extinguish Car Fire

SHELTON, CT — Shelton firefighters quickly extinguished a car fire Thursday evening in the Walmart parking lot.

A sedan's engine compartment had caught fire around 5:30 p.m., according to the department's Facebook page. No other vehicles were parked near the car at the time.

Echo Hose Hook and Ladder and Pine Rock Park firefighters responded to the scene.
