SHELTON, CT — Shelton High School Principal Beth Smith has been reassigned within the school system following her paid administrative leave.
Smith is now handling special education projects for the district, according to the Shelton Herald.
Superintendent Chris Clouet said the decision was made after it was clear she wasn't going to be arrested as part of a probe into an incident involving two students. Police investigated and won't file criminal charges.
