Shelton Holiday Trash, Recycling Schedule Released
The city has released information about trash and recycling collection for both Christmas and New Year's Day.

SHELTON, CT — The city has released information about trash and recycling collection for both Christmas and New Year's Day.
According to a news release provided by the city's Public Works Department, there will be no trash and recycling collection in Shelton on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and New Year's Day (Jan. 1).
Monday's collection for both holiday weeks will be once day late.

For the rest of the week, residents are asked to put out their trash and recycling on their normal scheduled day. If it is not picked up on that day, it will be on the following day, possibly extending into Saturday.
The Transfer Station and the City Yard will be closed on both Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
