Shelton To Host Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course

SHELTON, CT — Shelton Parks and Recreation will offer an American Red Cross water safety instructor course in April.

According to the Community Center's Facebook page, the instructor course will take place April 10-14 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The course fee is $350, plus an additional check for $41 made out to the "American Red Cross" as a certification fee.

Water safety instructors are swim instructors, as well as being able to teach safety training for swim coaches and other water safety courses, according to Parks and Recreation.
