Shelton To Launch New Online Permitting System
The new online permitting system through OpenGov will be available this month, according to Mayor Mark Lauretti.
SHELTON, CT — The city will launch a new online permitting system through OpenGov that will be available this month, according to Mayor Mark Lauretti.
In a message posted to Facebook, Lauretti said the new system, which will be available Thursday, will allow residents to apply for a building permit through the city's website at their convenience.
The new system will include the building, engineering, inland wetlands, WPCA, fire marshal and planning and zoning departments, according to Lauretti.

Staff will also still be available at City Hall to assist with submitting an application through a kiosk located on the third floor, Lauretti said.
"The city is excited to provide you with this new service," Lauretti said.
