Shelton Leaf Collection Dates

The second round of leaf collection will start soon.

SHELTON, CT — Shelton will have its second bagged curbside leaf collection between Dec. 3 and Dec. 7 this year.

Only brown paper biodegradable bags will be picked up. Leaves should be left on the curb on the regular trash collection day. Bags shouldn't contain grass clippings, sticks or rocks.

Leaf bags should be left curbside even if it snows.

Bags can be brought to the compost site on Willoughby Road near Elizabeth Shelton School as well through Dec. 8. Normal hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon. The site is closed Thanksgiving Day.
