Shelton Man, 79, Patronizes 18-Year-Old Woman: PD

SHELTON, CT — A 79-year-old Shelton man and an 18-year-old Ansonia woman were arrested after a prostitution deal, according to Ansonia Police.

Police investigated a suspicious person report March 17 on Beverly Drive. They learned that Ashley Tucker, 18, agreed to have sex with Victor Diaz, 79, of Shelton for money, police said.

Diaz gave Tucker money and Tucker fled the residence, police said. Diaz become involved in a dispute with two residents at the home.

Officers located Tucker during a motor vehicle stop and found drugs and drug paraphernalia in her vehicle, police said.

Diaz was charged with patronizing a prostitute and was released on a promise to appear.

Tucker was charged with prostitution, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held on a combined $3,000 bail.
