Shelton Man Charged Following Thursday's Bank Robbery
Shelton Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a bank robbery at Wells Fargo Thursday afternoon.
SHELTON, CT – Shelton Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a bank robbery at Wells Fargo Thursday afternoon.
On Thursday just before 1 p.m., a man entered Wells Fargo Bank at 320 Coram Ave and handed a teller a note demanding cash, according to Shelton Police, who posted a release on their Facebook page.
The teller complied and the man then went south on Coram Ave with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Hours after appealing to the public for assistance identifying the suspect, police arrested Matthew Poloski, 33, of Shelton.
Poloski was charged with robbery, larceny and illegal possession of narcotics. He was placed on $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on Friday.
