A Shelton man was killed in a hang gliding accident on Wawarsing, NY.
According to New York State Police Troop F, Scott Trueblood, 44 was hang gliding near the Route 52 overlook just after 6 p.m. on May 17 when he struck a mountainside.
Trueblood was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
The incident is being described as a “freak accident”, according to the Daily Freeman.
