Shelton Near Top of Weekly High School Football Poll
The Gaels are averaging just under 40 points per game in their first four victories.

A hard-fought victory over a top opponent kept Shelton near the top of the latest weekly Connecticut high school football poll, as compiled by GameTimeCT.com and the New Haven Register.
The Gaels edged Xavier 38-35 Saturday, just below their season scoring average of 39.5 points per game.
